Ed& Pramit's Massaman Short rib


Cooking time: 20-25 minutes


šŸ„” 1 potato, cubed
ā­ļø Half a shallot
šŸ„© Beef short rib, blanched and cubed
šŸ‡¹šŸ‡­@wildricelondonĀ Massaman sauce
šŸ„„ Splash of coconut milk

1. Blanch the short rib for 10 mins then dice and sear until browned. At the same time boil the potato in hot water.

2. Add shallots to a pot on medium heat and fry until fragrant.

3. Pour Massaman sauce into a pot and add 200ml water.

4. Add meat and cubed potato and bring to boil in medium heat. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes soften and meat is tender.

5. Plate and pour some coconut milk over. Serve with a boil of steamed rice.
